Or as they would say in Science, RUM + BBATTTAHOP > SBM + BT. Also, I recommend getting a second opinion from another doctor re: how urgent it is for her to start eating food right now. Your doctor sounds a little drunk on power. If Evelyn <i>is</i> low in iron/protein, then fine, but if it's a case of she <i>could be at some unspecified date in the future</i>, then relax. Also, are there formulas available that have an extra shot of protein & iron? If deficiency is a real issue, could you perhaps introduce a bit of that from time to time if you haven't already. I am so happy to see your beautiful daughter; I had my ultrasound on Thursday and we are having exactly what we expected: a girl as well (I chart my ovulation, so we've always known, much to my parents disappointment - ha!)! I'm sorry the labour was such a harrowing experience, but we can never predict those things, and she's here, and healthy! Maybe someday our daughters will play together.
