I always think that what people keep in their cubpoards and refrigerators is very interesting and revealing. I cleaned our fridge yesterday and decided I would make a list of what we have in there. I found it quite interesting and I think we have too many herbs.

  • Walnut oil
  • eggs
  • natural peanut butter
  • balsamic and italian and mustard vinaigrettes
  • peanut butter no-bake cookies
  • mascarpone, feta, brie, cheddar cheese
  • salted and unsalted butter
  • shortening
  • goose fat
  • 5 kinds of jam
  • cheap caviar
  • foie gras
  • garlic head
  • shallots
  • onions
  • grated real parmesan cheese
  • 3 kinds of dry yeast (+ fresh yeast frozen in the freezer)
  • heavy cream
  • buttermilk
  • coffee cream
  • milk
  • water
  • juice
  • yogurt
  • sourdough culture
  • beef tenderloin
  • agugula
  • tahini
  • olives
  • 3 kinds of miso paste
  • potatoes
  • broccoli
  • pineapple
  • carrots
  • celery
  • cucumber
  • herbs: a bit over the top with sage, basil, oregano, thyme, rosemary, mint and chives
  • lemons
  • ketchup
  • tomato paste
  • sparkling water
  • maple syrup
  • bbq sauce
  • white cooking wine
  • fish sauce
  • shaoshang wine
  • mirin
  • pickled peperonici peppers
  • pickled jalapeno peppers
  • sambal olek
  • asian garlic chili sauce
  • vegetable, chicken and beef stock
  • anchovies
  • capers
  • mayonnaise
  • american, whole grain and dijon mustard
  • pickles
  • mango chtuney
  • pizza oil from Provence

Reading this, I wonder how we fit it all in there. No wonder there is never enough room for leftovers!
