So two nights ago Evelyn finally learned how to roll over wearing her sleep sac AND wedged between the foam blocks. I heard a strange sound in the middle of the night and eventually woke up enough to realise it was the sound of something pushing the toys that hang from the side of her crib … which she shouldn’t have been able to reach. I went out and sure enough, there she was squished against the side of the crib sleeping on her tummy. She has only done it once since then and I think the trick is to keep the foam blocks as close to her arms as possible; the lower the are the easier she can roll over them.

Lately Evelyn had been going through a separation anxiety thing where she would wake up every few hours during the night. Fortunately that seems to be passing and I have had a few nights of lovely uninterrupted sleep (aside from checking to make sure she is still on her back).

Today it snowed for the first time and Evelyn seemed very curious about what she saw through the window. I will take her out later and show her the snow and see what she thinks!
