name this fish

Well, we had an interesting experience with fish from the poissonnerie this week. Dan stopped in to get some fish for supper on the way home and saw this on special. Whatever it is, we both agree it is the strangest fish experience we have ever had. I think we ended up with a sturgeon fin. It was really, really odd. It was very fatty – it made our apartment smell like greasy fish. I think sturgeon meat is supposed to be a delecacy, but I don’t think I will try it again after this expierience…
